Included within GLMI’s August Feature Pack are two exciting, yet simple and time-saving tools! Be sure to read more about the Response Viewer and Medication Tool below:
Response Viewer: The Response Viewer allows for all billing personnel to easily review the details of the response files received from Medicare. The 999 Viewer tab will display possible errors causing rejection and provide a general overview of the entire batch. The second tab, the 277 Viewer provides specific patient details for the 277 batch files and each individual claim.
When first accessing the EDI Response Viewer from the Billing tab of the menu, users will need to follow a few simple instructions, so be sure to review the EDI Response Viewer script before getting started.
Medication Tool: The Medication Tool grants quick access to medication information outside of the patient record through the Patient List and Medication Teaching search. For example, if a medication has been recalled, users are able to enter the medication name into the Medication Tool search and review a list of all patients actively taking that specific medication. The Medication Tool can also be utilized to quickly retrieve any Teaching Guides. Be sure to review the Medication Tool script for more information.
